This year, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Interfaith Social Services in Quincy, MA, to further our mission of making a difference in the lives of those in need. Interfaith Social Services has been dedicated to improving the lives of South Shore families and individuals since 1947. They provide vital programs focused on hunger relief, mental health support, and emergency assistance. We are honored to support their remarkable work by donating and installing a solar system on their building in the weeks leading up to Summit Day.
Donate Solar, Donate Hope
Throughout the months of August and September, you have two incredible ways to support Interfaith Social Services and be a part of the positive change in our community:
Go Solar and We'll Donate $500 to Interfaith Social Services
When you make the switch to solar with Summit Energy in August or September, we will donate $500 to Interfaith Social Services. $250 will be donated in your name, recognizing your commitment to sustainable energy, and $250 in Summit Energy’s name to further support Interfaith’s mission.
Donate to Interfaith, and We'll Double It
If you prefer to make a direct donation, you can donate to Interfaith Social Services, and Summit Energy will match your donation dollar-for-dollar up to $250. You can either donate by using our Venmo link below, or directly to Interfaith Social Services through their website or via check. If you make a direct donation to Interfaith Social Services, please be sure to mention Summit Energy in the Comments area of your online donation or the memo field of your check. Together, we can make an even bigger impact and help Interfaith continue their critical work.
Interfaith Social Services – Changing Lives, Building Hope
Interfaith Social Services’ Food Pantry is one of the largest emergency food programs in Greater Boston, serving thousands of South Shore families in need every year. Their Counseling Services provide compassionate mental health counseling on a sliding-fee scale, and their Homelessness Prevention program, HomeSafe, offers assistance with rent, utilities, budget counseling, and medical expenses.
How You Can Help Interfaith Social Services
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Interfaith Social Services. Last year volunteers contributed more than 16,000 hours of time serving within Interfaith’s various programs.
Since 1975, the Bureau Drawer Thrift Shop has been supported by donations from the community. Operated entirely by volunteers, all sales directly support Interfaith’s programs.
Donate food, clothing, diapers or hygiene items, grow vegetables to share, participate in one of our holiday programs, or set up a fundraiser or drive.
